3- Being petty versus generous (10 unproductive ways to ask for help)

Ten days to improve communication and tackle ten unproductive ways to ask for help – in 10 cartoons! Here is Cartoon 2, if you missed it. Enjoy Cartoon 3!

Carole

Reflecting on this cartoon, choose a situation in which you could be either petty or generous when asking for help. Notice the differences, and if you’d like, share them with me.

  1. Each of your lessons speaks directly to me (as a sister four on the enneagram). You’ve nailed it.
Over and over again I have to remind myself that ‘it is not always about me’ and to turn my attention to the other person and be generous in my happiness for something they have received or accomplished. My ‘habit’ it to be envious and petty rather than spacious and generous. Working to shift this. I love this series of cartoons. So enlightening! Thanks Carole. Love, Arina

    • Thanks Arina for your authentic and generous comment! I got all the unproductive ways and I like you’re using the word “spacious”. I resonate with this word but never use it. I will now!
