4- Being flattering versus authentic (10 unproductive ways for asking for help)

You’ll probably get Day 3 and Day 4 at the same time, since I forgot to push the button “Publish” on Friday night! (Even though it was ready – I swear.)

As a reminder, this is a series over ten days to improve communication and tackle ten unproductive ways to ask for help – in 10 cartoons.

Enjoy Cartoon 4!

Carole

Reflecting on this cartoon, choose a situation in which you could be either flattering or authentic when asking for help. Notice the differences, and if you’d like, share them with me.

    Carole,
I love these — and the daily format! it is interesting to see which ones really make me go “YEOW” out loud (meaning that’s me!)

    • Thanks Jeff for your comment and self-honesty. I was also wondering about the daily format – “is it too much, am I bothering, am I taking too much space…” – this kind of things (it will be my unproductive way number 7, by the way!). I’m glad it works for you!
